Had a wonderful time at this property and in Charleston. Our host Jaime and the staff were exceptional and available. They made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The Christmas tree was a nice touch. The apartment was perfect. Many nice amenities to make our stay comfortable. Plenty of exceptional towels, full size shampoo and bath items, toilet paper, hair dryersand a nice surprise, coffee. Definitely an upgrade from other VRBOs we have been to. They even provided sound machines in each bedroom if you had trouble settling in for the night. Lots of kitchen necessities if you wanted to cook.Location was perfect. Very safe. Many great restaurants, shops and historical sites within walking distance. The Visitor's Center is a must to help make the most of your stay.Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property. It can also be opened up to the other units/apartments to create a space for large families. Loved Charleston. Everyone is so friendly.

Exceptional Accomodations in Beautiful Charleston

We met up with good friends for a reunion and first-time opportunity to experience the sights and tastes of Charleston. Our stay at 176A St Philip Square was a perfect choice for us. The unit is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well-appointed for every need as a home-away from home. It was reasonably priced and included two parking spaces, a definite bonus. We appreciated the ensuite bedrooms with king-size beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. The lovely exposed brick, archways, crown moldings and outdoor porch added so much charm. Bring good walking shoes so you can find your way to many shops and restaurants nearby, especially on King Street. Or, hop on a CARTA bus if you get tired. They're free! A carriage tour to learn about the history of the city is well worth it. We highly recommend this exceptional rental unit.

Old town charm central to all the fun of Charleston

Our extended family rented 176A (main and basement) and 176C (2nd and 3rd floor) when we visited Charleston for a family wedding. While planning, Jamey was so helpful! Each unit had a separate kitchen/living room. The main floor was perfect for family gatherings and dinners surrounding the wedding. It’s only steps away to King st so it was an easy stopping place for everyone going out for dinner or drinks. Also, I was able to walk to Drybar to get my hair done on the wedding day. It was a great central location. For 176A, the rooms were great with each having its own ensuite bathroom plus individual a/c units so everyone remained comfortable. Once in our room , you could not hear any noise from the common areas. There are daybeds in two rooms that were perfect if you want to share your room with a child/teen. We drove down and having parking included was a huge bonus. Being able to cook some meals and do some laundry was very convenient. So many small amenities that were so helpful: coffee provided, shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided, steamer and iron were goid to have on hand for our formal wear. The unit was so nicely designed and we loved the old town charm! Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fairly large family/group.

Nice rental, nice location, nice management

Management communicated clearly with us plenty before getting there and then when we were there I had a couple of minor questions that they answered right away! The house was clean and well stocked. It was the perfect location downtown and most attractions were within a short walk. It was a longer walk to the waterfront but that was not a problem for us. We really enjoyed our time there! The porch was great!

Perfect stay for downtown Charleston

Our party of 6 was looking for a great place to stay together to experience the heart of downtown Charleston. This place was perfect with all it's updated amenities while still maintaining it's Southern Charm. Very clean, well supplied kitchen and bathroom necessities. Walking distance to all the action on King St. Host was very responsive. Would recommend this place. Stayed at 176a.
